Portfolio

This page contains a sampling of sites I've worked on over the years.

2013-2017

My most recent position was as an FTE at Microsoft, focusing on highly performant cross-browser/device HTML/CSS frameworks. Screenshots coming soon.

2011-2012

Obama 2012 logoI was fortunate to work for President Barack Obama's 2012 re-election campaign twice, in 2011 when it re-launched under the DNC while his campaign organization was spinning up, and again in 2012 for the final stretch.

I had the privilege of being able to do some event photography for the campaign - some of results can be seen in the Political album here:

2006-2012

During this time period, I worked various contract vendor roles with Microsoft.

In 2011-2012, I had a 1 year contract with Microsoft AdCenter, the Bing parallel to Google AdWords that would later become Bing Ads. I was brought in to help with CSS but was able to modernize the AdCenter site to HTML5 during a site rebranding overhaul, as well as work on an interactive AdBar feature for Hotmail.

In 2010-2011, I worked as a front-end UI developer for the Xbox Halo Waypoint site. One of my primary tasks was to apply the "Halo look and feel" to 3rd-party forums software that was being added to the site, in addition to rebranding of the existing site:

Prior to Halo, I worked on interactive portions of a private site within the Microsoft OEM Partner Center. The quiz and survey modules were designed to have dynamic CSS-based UI designs without requiring any underlying code changes.

I am also in the process of converting the Model Horse Sales Pages from "Classic" ASP to ASP.NET 4.0. This is a demo of the new site, which utilizes AJAX and jQuery:

Additionally, I have also been converting the UI to utilize the latest in HTML5/CSS3 as part of a rebranding makeover, hopefully to be launched soon:
